Valve & Automation have delivered 40” Zwick Tri-Con tight shutoff rotary process control valves with V&A Procontrol spring return actuators to Sasol Synfuels. The triple eccentric valve design also achieves “zero leakage”.

These valves will be used for modulating flow control of import and export air into a common header. The header is designed to feed compressor needs during varying plant / train demands.

The valves are fitted with a trip solenoids for emergency in which case the V&A Procontrol actuator fails the valve to close.
