We currently have 3 x vacancies on external sales in Durban, Secunda & Vaal. Please read below for all details.

(1) Technical Valve Sales Specialist – Valves – Richards Bay & Surrounding Areas

We are looking for a technical sales person to join our successful national sales team operating in the KZN.

Successful person will:

  • Have completed a recognised mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship or have extensive experience in flow related equipment / instrumentation.
  • Technical qualification (N6 or N Diploma – Mechanical Engineering Technician will be advantageous).
  • Have a min. of 5 years’ experience on manual and control valves or flow related equipment / instrumentation.
  • Have a min. of 5 years’ technical sales experience within the pulp & paper and chemical industries and have extensive experience with Mondi, Mpact and Sappi and Foskor.
  • Have the ability to review client flow related applications or problems and offer long term TCO related solutions.
  • Have very good computer experience using MS Office including MS Word, Excel and Outlook (Office 365)
  • Have proven experience in handling sales calls, technical back up, demonstrations & client presentations.
  • Have a proven track record handling technical sales & an excellent knowledge of the sales cycle.
  • Be able to work according to stringent work standards.
  • Have excellent communication at all levels.
  • Want a career in sales and must live in the Richards Bay area.

We are looking for a technical sales person to join our successful national sales team operating in the Secunda area. This person will report to the regional manager in the Secunda branch.

Successful person will:

  • Have completed a recognised mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship or have extensive experience in flow related equipment / instrumentation.
  • Technical qualification (N6 or N Diploma – Mechanical Engineering Technician will be advantageous).
  • Have a min. of 5 years’ experience on manual and control valves or flow related equipment / instrumentation.
  • Have the ability to review client flow related applications or problems and offer long term TCO related solutions.
  • Have very good computer experience using MS Office including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have proven experience in handling sales calls, technical back up, demonstrations & client presentations.
  • Have a proven track record handling technical sales & an excellent knowledge of the sales cycle. We have a CRM system, this forms part of the routine function of the sales person.
  • Be able to work according to keep to stringent work ethic, as work is mostly remote from the office.
  • Have excellent communication at all levels.
  • Must want a career in sales and live in the Secunda area.
  • Key client is Sasol, sales experience in the Secunda complex is a necessity.
  • Require to achieve client face to face interaction 75-80% of their daily routine.

  • Have a min. of 5 years’ experience on manual and control valves or flow related equipment / instrumentation.
  • Have the ability to review client flow related applications or problems and offer long term TCO related solutions.
  • Have very good computer experience using MS Office including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have proven experience in handling sales calls, technical back up, demonstrations & client presentations.
