The Actreg SY01K series is a steel scotch yoke actuator that is compact, lightweight and cost effective. The high break-out torques makes them ideal for all quarter turn valves such as ball, butterfly and plug with torques up to 1,756 Nm. Being SIL 3, they are suitable for ESD and HIPPS applications.
They are available in both spring return or double acting. The standard mounting pads make them easy to change from fail open to fail closed without the need to strip the actuator. Optional “O” Rings in FPM increase operating temperature up to 120oC.
Our valve automation centres in Secunda and Durban can assemble and test your valve packages to international standards including hydraulic power pack for manual override. Every Actreg actuator is built to provide long and efficient service with minimum maintenance. The design, engineering and materials used in their construction ensure optimum performance even in the harshest environments. For control applications, options of 4-20mA positioners, HART Positioners and Profibus Positioners are available.
