The NAF-Check tilting disc check non-return valve with its unique design gives excellent tightness and minimises water hammer.
The centre of gravity of the disc and the oblique seat makes the valve fast closing, reducing the risk of pressure shocks and can be supplied with a spring to further reduce water hammer. The design of the valve allows it to be fully open at very low flow velocity (down to 0,6m/s) with low pressure drops. The low physical weight results in reduced handling costs and ease of installation while the short face to face is suitable for all flange standards.
The circular wafer body is designed to be clamped between two pipe flanges in accordance with DIN or ANSI. It offers excellent tightness, better than demanded in API 598 and is CE-marked according to Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) module H, category III.
