NAF – Trimball Ball Control ValveEnquire Now
BRAND: NAFCATEGORY: Ball Valves, Control Valves,
The NAF Trimball is a rotary control valve which is specifically designed for demanding applications where media and high pressure drop conditions result in cavitation, noise and erosion. The valve has options of an A-trim or Z-trim which are ideal for a variety of applications.
The A-trim has a number of zig-zag channels, which when the flow is controlled from the closed position, the channels are opened one by one. Every channel comprises a large number of deflections, which enables the pressure drop to take place in a number of small steps. In addition, the area of each channel can easily be varied. These design features are necessary for effectively solving the problems of cavitation, erosion and noise during flow control.
The Z-trim reduces noise and cavitation by reducing the pressure drop in several steps. This design allows it to be used with impurities or fibres and has a self-cleaning effect. It has an easy to service arrangement, due to the off-centre joint face of the body, which allows for easy replacement of the ball and seals, without the need for removing the stem and actuator.
Our Valve Repair Centres in Secunda and Durban provide a full valve repair and reconditioning service as well as valve automation to assemble and test your valve packages.
