The Richter KSE is a thick walled PFA/PTFE lined certified chemical safety valve that has been proven over 60 years and certified for use on vapours, gases and liquids. It is ideal for corrosive media where metallic materials cannot attain an adequate service life on special materials result in high capital outlay.
It provides protection for pressure vessels and plant against excessive pressure and has a set pressure of 0,1 to 13 bar and an operating temperature up to 180oC. It is a direct acting, spring loaded, bellows sealed safety valve with an angle type valve body.
The thick walled pure PFA and PTFE fluoropolymer lining provides universal corrosion resistance and is anchored to the body making it vacuum resistant. The external corrosion protection is epoxy coating and stainless steel fasteners. The bellows are made from modified TFM-PTFE, providing a hermetic seal to the valve bonnet and protection of the spindle against corrosion. The seat and plug are individually interchangeable and manufactured from a pressure resistant PTFE / carbon compound with no glass or ceramic. Optional seat and plug of pure PTFE and Hastelloy are available.
