The Stafsjö RKO knife gate valve is very reliable and particularly well suited for demanding rejects and other abrasive media in the Pulp & Paper industry. The valve has a circular inlet and square outlet, and together with the gate, has a rectangular shape and a bevel edge, which counteracts clogging and minimises blockages, which often is a problem in combination with junk traps, coarse rejects and cleaners.
The valve has a modular design, which makes it easy to customise for specific applications. It has a very robust valve body which is available in stainless steel, coated cast iron or carbon steel. In order maximise the service life the valve is supplied as standard with a wear resistant hard chromed gate in Duplex Stainless Steel. The maintenance is very easy and cost-efficient thanks to the proven retainer ring system and mechanically locked and exchangeable guide strips. If required, the valve can be supplied with an adaptor on the square side for connection to a circular pipe or flange.
