The Cashco Ranger QCT Rotary Globe Valve provides excellent control performance in a wide range of applications and can be supplied in either flanged or flangeless body style. These control valves are available with Class IV or VI shutoff. 

Quick Change Trim (QCT)

Its most unique design feature centers around its Quick Change Trim – QCT. This concept provides easy front access to the valve body, allowing the quick installation of various low noise inserts, abrasion sleeve or alternate front-end seal retainers. Various combinations of these features can be utilized to meet specific control application.

The Ranger is the most user friendly control valve in the marketplace today when it comes to maintenance. It takes a mere five minutes to change trim when out of the pipeline and requires no recalibration.

Common Applications

The Ranger is a universal control valve that is applicable in most control valve applications, including liquid, gas, vapour, slurry and especially steam. The eccentric plug rotary design provides longer life on difficult services, like erosive and hard to hand fluids, where conventional ball or globe control valves have problems with body or trim wear. It provides noise control for gaseous service, and cavitation and flashing control for liquid service.

It is able to withstand temporary distortions due to “thermal shock” without compromising continued control of the process. The Ranger is used extensively in petrochemical, chemical, petroleum refining, power and mining industries.
