The Actreg SY series is a scotch yoke actuator that creates high break-out torques making them ideal for all quarter turn valves such as ball, butterfly and plug. With torques up to 700,000 Nm, they will operate even the largest valve in your plant. Being SIL 3 certified, they are suitable for ESD and HIPPS applications.

The optional Actlock Partial Stoke Test (PST) module can be integrated into the actuator housing and is a 100% reliable mechanical solution that does not need complicated software or fragile wiring and connections. It offers a 3 in 1 function, Partial Stroke Test, locking device and stroke limiter.

The design, engineering and materials used in their construction ensure optimum performance even in the harshest environments. Totally enclosed weatherproof centre-body and caps provided with o’ rings to ensure it is protects from any water ingress. For control applications, options of 4-20mA positioners, HART Positioners and Profibus Positioners are available. The centre-body has a guide that supports transverse forces of the scotch yoke mechanism and ensures proper alignment of the piston rod.
